Sour Cleaning Products B.V. is seeking a Senior Consolidation Specialist to oversee group financial consolidation, support accurate reporting, and ensure consistency across entities.

You will manage consolidation processes, review subsidiary data, and coordinate with finance teams to ensure timely closes. This role requires IFRS knowledge, strong Excel skills, and the ability to handle complex data with precision.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, group consolidation, and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in IFRS or relevant local standards.
• Experience with intercompany reconciliations, consolidation adjustments, and financial closing processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with consolidation systems.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines.
• Effective communication and coordination with finance teams.
• Professional accounting qualifications or relevant certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities.
• Review subsidiary financial reports and ensure accuracy of data.
• Prepare consolidation adjustments, intercompany eliminations, and reconciliation entries.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between intercompany balances and transactions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Analyze consolidated financial results and investigate significant variances.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and reporting policies.
• Coordinate with finance teams to collect, validate, and reconcile information.
• Assist with external audits, statutory reporting, and supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve consolidation workflows and reporting accuracy.
