Job summary

AIG in Dubai is seeking a Senior Commercial Property Underwriter – FAC RI to help shape risk strategies and pricing across portfolios. You will work with PCM and regional heads on portfolio decisions, while collaborating with actuaries, brokers, and claims teams to optimize profitability and client coverage.

The role emphasizes strong underwriting expertise, market knowledge, and relationship building with clients and producers, in a high-energy environment that values collaboration and growth.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering management or business management.
• Experience in CP underwriting and insurance industry knowledge.
• Extensive underwriting market knowledge with claims experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage renewal portfolio and secure new business accounts with regular market visits.
• Achieve budgeted top and bottom line results through sound underwriting decisions.
• Educate local business community on property products and presentations for clients.
• Maintain awareness of legal and regulatory environment to ensure underwriting compliance and complete mandatory training.
• Report on budget metrics and forecasts, tracking production and performance parameters.
• Maintain market awareness and build strong relationships with clients and brokers through meetings and events.
