Job summary

Al-Futtaim in Dubai invites an Insurance Executive – Property Underwriting to join the Property & Energy Underwriting Division. You will underwrite property risks, review risk submissions, and prepare quotations while coordinating with brokers and clients to ensure smooth service delivery.

The role requires 2–5 years in General Insurance, strong property risk knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office. ACII or Cert CII progression is advantageous; immediate posting is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance/risk management, or similar discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in General Insurance, preferably Property Underwriting, UAE or regional advantage.
• Sound understanding of commercial and industrial property risks.
• Excellent communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• ACII or Cert CII or progress towards insurance certifications is an added advantage.
• Immediate posting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in underwriting Property risks in accordance with company guidelines.
• Review and analyze risk submissions, underwriting information, surveys, and claims experience.
• Prepare quotations, endorsements, and renewal terms.
• Coordinate with brokers, clients, reinsurers, and internal departments to ensure smooth servicing of accounts.
• Support facultative reinsurance placements and underwriting referrals.
• Maintain underwriting records and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Assist in portfolio monitoring, renewal management initiatives.
