Job summary

AIG Dubai seeks a Senior Underwriter- Marine to lead profitable underwriting of Marine products across GCC & NA, focusing on the UAE market, and to nurture broker and client relationships to drive premium growth.

You will ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines, utilize pricing tools, and collaborate with internal teams to balance risk and value, contributing to our total rewards culture and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CII qualifications are a plus.
• Experience in Marine underwriting or broking.
• Knowledge of Marine Insurance, logistics and global trade.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite, market sell and promote Marine products within GCC & NA.
• Maintain profitable underwriting of new business and renewals.
• Develop broker and client relationships.
• Provide underwriting decisions and price risks to meet profit goals.
• Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and tools.
