Bayut & dubizzle, part of the Dubizzle Group, seeks a Legal Counsel to handle complex commercial and legal matters across UAE operations.

You will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts while advising the business on legal rights and duties. The role requires strong drafting skills and experience with technology, media and telecommunications matters in a global context.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent with international qualification.
• Minimum 5–8 years PQE, ideally in an international law firm or multinational.
• Experience as a commercial lawyer with exposure to TMT matters.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee commercial legal matters and consult on a range of processes including IP, mergers & acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, compliance, transactions, agreements, lawsuits and patents (including TMT).
• Draft, amend and administer commercial contracts and other commercial agreements, and assist in follow-up of contract documents.
• Provide advice on existing and new commercial agreements, evaluate contract compliance and advise on contractual rights and obligations.
• Negotiate deals and contract terms and attend relevant meetings.
• Prepare research notes, reports and other legal documents.
• Develop company policy and position on legal issues and stay updated with legislative changes.
