Job summary

Bayut & dubizzle is seeking a Legal Counsel to handle complex commercial and legal matters for UAE businesses. You will draft, review and negotiate contracts, advise on rights and obligations, and support the Group's legal function across the dubizzle Group.

You will work with the Associate Director, Legal and the Group General Counsel, handling technology, media and telecommunications matters when required and ensuring compliance across entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years PQE in an international law firm or multinational.
• Experience in commercial law with TMT exposure.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial legal matters and provide guidance on contracts and agreements.
• Draft, amend and administer commercial contracts; ensure compliance.
• Advise on contractual rights and obligations; negotiate terms.
• Prepare research notes, reports, and legal documents.
• Develop company policy and respond to legal risks.
• Guide managers and ensure regulatory compliance in UAE.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings when needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments on contract requirements and filing.
• Stay up to date with legislative changes.
