Job summary

Duncan & Ross is seeking a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to join our EPC project team in the Middle East. The role covers design, analysis, and technical support across FEED through commissioning, delivering civil and structural engineering solutions for onshore facilities.

Ideal candidates will have 12–15 years of oil & gas EPC experience, proficiency in STAAD Pro, and familiarity with international codes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering from a recognized university.
12–15 years of civil and structural experience in oil & gas EPC projects.
Strong FEED and Detailed Engineering experience on large onshore developments.
Proficiency in STAAD Pro is mandatory.
Experience with international codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE, BS, Eurocodes, API).
Experience working on Middle East EPC projects.

Responsibilities

Perform civil and structural design and analysis for onshore oil & gas facilities.
Prepare and review engineering deliverables including calculations, specs, and datasheets.
Design reinforced concrete and structural steel structures per project requirements.
Perform foundation design and assessment for static and dynamic equipment.
Review structural analysis models and calculations using STAAD Pro and other tools.
Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Architectural teams.
Review vendor drawings and third-party documents for compliance.
Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, HAZOP support, and coordination meetings.
Provide technical support during procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
Ensure compliance with specifications, client requirements, and applicable codes.
Support technical bid evaluations and review contractor/vendor submissions.
Mentor junior engineers and review their calculations.
