Job summary

Duncan & Ross Consulting in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to execute FEED and Detailed Engineering for oil and gas projects, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost‑effective civil and structural design solutions.

The role requires leadership across disciplines, review of deliverables, and coordination with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams, with extensive experience in steel and reinforced concrete structures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from a recognized university.
12–15 years of experience in civil and structural engineering with FEED and Detailed Engineering.
Experience designing steel and reinforced concrete structures and equipment foundations.

Responsibilities

Execute civil and structural activities during FEED and Detailed Engineering for oil and gas projects.
Develop, review, and prepare design deliverables, calculations, specs, and drawings.
Perform structural analysis for steel and reinforced concrete structures.
Design and review foundations for equipment, tanks, vessels, and facilities.
Coordinate with process, piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and architectural disciplines.
Review vendor drawings and technical documentation.
Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and constructability reviews.
Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Identify risks and propose practical safety, constructability, and schedule improvements.
