Job summary

Duncan & Ross Consulting is seeking a Senior Engineer - Civil & Structural to lead design and analysis for onshore oil & gas EPC projects in the Middle East. You will deliver civil and structural engineering work from FEED through commissioning, coordinating with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical and other disciplines.

The ideal candidate has 12–15 years of experience in oil & gas EPC, strong STAAD Pro skills, and a proven track record in large-scale brownfield/greenfield developments with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from a recognized university.
12–15 years of civil and structural engineering experience in oil & gas EPC projects.
Experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering phases for large onshore developments.
Proficiency in STAAD Pro is mandatory.
Knowledge of international codes including ACI, AISC, ASCE, BS, Eurocodes and API standards.

Responsibilities

Perform civil and structural design and analysis for onshore oil & gas facilities including pipe racks, foundations, process structures, buildings, substations, control rooms, roads, drainage and utilities.
Prepare and review design calculations, specifications, reports, MTOs, datasheets, and technical requisitions.
Design reinforced concrete and structural steel structures per project requirements.
Perform foundation design and assessment for static and dynamic equipment.
Review structural analysis models and calculations using STAAD Pro and other industry tools.
Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Architectural disciplines for integrated solutions.
Review vendor drawings and third-party documents for compliance.
Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, and HAZOP support activities.
Provide technical support during procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases.
Ensure compliance with project specs, client requirements and applicable codes.
