Job summary

Penspen Ltd in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a Senior Structural Engineer (Offshore) to lead civil/structural activities within the Core Engineering or PMT teams. The role includes supervision of onshore personnel and delegation of tasks.

You will work under a Lead Civil/Structural Engineer Offshore, coordinating across disciplines and ensuring compliance with project requirements and offshore construction phases. The ideal candidate has 12+ years in civil/structural, PMC background, and familiarity

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Civil/Structural Engineering experience, incl. offshore oil and gas projects.
• PMC experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures is beneficial.
• Exposure to construction and commissioning phases beneficial.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.

Penspen www.penspen.com looking for aSenior Structural Engineer, The position is based in UAE, Abu dhabi. The Senior Structural Engineer (Offshore) may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMT project team environment. The Senior Structural Engineer (Offshore) may have engineer grade onshore civil/structural personnel under his responsibility and will be tasked with their control and management and the delegation of activities to such support personnel. TheSenior Structural Engineer (Offshore) may work under the supervision of a Lead Civil /Structural Engineer (Offshore) in which case his responsibilities will be as delegated.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

• At least Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years of them within the field of Civil / Structural Engineering related to structures for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical Offshore projects.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.
• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
