Job summary

Star Services in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Civil & Structural Engineer to lead design reviews and supervise civil and structural works on oil, gas and infrastructure projects.

You will prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, conduct technical clarifications, and coordinate with consultants, EPC contractors and government authorities to ensure on-time delivery, quality and compliance with HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required (mandatory).
• Master's degree or relevant professional qualifications are a plus.
• 7–8 years of Civil & Structural Engineering experience required.
• At least 3 years design experience with consultants/EPC projects.
• Experience with UAE G5 construction projects preferred.
• Proficiency in STAAD Pro, AutoCAD and 3D structural modelling tools.
• Strong knowledge of concrete and steel design.
• Experience in EPC project tendering, contract administration, and execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of HSE standards and PTW systems.

Responsibilities

• Review design and supervise civil & structural engineering works for oil & gas and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, conduct technical clarifications and participate in contractor meetings.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, design calculations, BOQs and technical documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, EPC contractors, subcontractors and government authorities throughout project execution.
• Monitor site activities, progress, quality standards and compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, manage technical issues, engineering changes and risk assessments.
• Ensure project delivery within schedule, budget, HSE requirements and company standards.
