Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to supervise infrastructure site activities in Dubai. You will review contract documents, ensure contractor compliance with standards, and maintain records of resources and daily site progress.

The role requires UAE experience, a civil engineering degree, and strong QA/QC focus. Responsibilities include daily reporting, on-site inspections, liaising with RE/ARE, and coordinating with the client project manager to ensure timely handover and adherence to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering, UAE experience preferred.
RTA approval is preferred for site supervision roles.

Responsibilities

Be familiar with contract documents, drawings, specs and health and safety updates.
Ensure contractor compliance with contract standards and specifications.
Maintain records of contractor resources (human/equipment).
Undertake site supervision and inspections as directed by RE/ARE.
Coordinate daily with the contractor to ensure resources, safety and equipment needs.
Prepare daily reports to RE/ARE including works orders and inspections.
Follow up on site instructions from RE/ARE and implement them.
Apply quality controls and quality procedures on site.
Prepare site measurements and surveying checks for pipes alignments/levels.
Coordinate with client project manager during site inspections.
Monitor QA/QC activities and maintain relevant records.
Assist RE/ARE in preparing correspondences in line with contract.
Support startup, commissioning and handover of site works.
