Azizi Developments is seeking a QA/QC Engineer – Civil to implement and monitor quality assurance and control processes across civil construction activities in Dubai. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 7–10 years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry.
• Mandatory experience in civil construction projects in Dubai/UAE.
• Experience in high-rise or large-scale construction projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards, specifications, codes, and quality requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and project QA/QC plans.
• Experience with concrete, reinforcement, formwork, waterproofing, finishes, and related activities.
• Experience preparing and reviewing ITPs, MIRs, IRs, NCRs, checklists, and quality docs.
• Experience working with Consultants, Contractors, Subcontractors, and UAE authorities.
• Strong communication, coordination, inspection, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor QA/QC procedures for civil works.
• Ensure civil works comply with drawings, specs, codes, and standards.
• Review IRs, MIRs, method statements, submittals, and quality docs.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits.
• Inspect concrete, reinforcement, formwork, blockwork, waterproofing, finishes.
• Monitor concrete pouring activities and post-pour requirements.
• Ensure materials meet project specs and standards.
• Identify NCRs and drive corrective actions and close-out.
• Coordinate with Resident Engineers, Consultants, and Contractors.
• Witness material testing, lab tests, inspections, and QA activities.
• Maintain quality records and inspection/test reports.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and client quality plans.
• Coordinate with Dubai Municipality and UAE authorities.
• Participate in meetings, audits, snagging, and handover inspections.
• Report recurring quality issues and propose corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance and promote quality awareness on site.
