Job summary

Confidential in Construction Company is seeking a Civil QA/QC Engineer to ensure civil works comply with drawings, specifications, contract requirements, codes, and quality standards. You will monitor site activities, conduct inspections, and prepare quality documentation.

You will coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams to maintain quality throughout the project lifecycle, raise NCRs, manage ITPs/MIRs/IRs, and support audits and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 5-8+ years QA/QC experience in civil construction; min 3 years in UAE.
• Experience with ITPs, Method Statements, MIRs, IRs, NCRs, RFIs, and material approval.
• Knowledge of local authority requirements and international construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the project's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Review project specifications, ITPs, method statements, and material submittals.
• Conduct inspections of civil work to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors.
• Prepare Inspection Requests (IRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
• Monitor site activities to maintain quality through all construction phases.
• Identify non-conforming works and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Prepare quality reports, inspection records, checklists, and turnover documentation.
