Job summary

Elite is seeking a Civil QA/QC professional in Dubai to ensure civil and structural works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality requirements. You will implement QA/QC procedures, inspect works, and maintain rigorous records throughout delivery.

You will review drawings and submittals, coordinate tests and inspections, and manage NCRs and corrective actions. Strong communication with site teams and clients is essential, with ISO 9001 experience considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Typically 3–5 years of civil construction QA/QC experience, adjusted to project needs.
• Experience in building, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.
• Working knowledge of relevant construction codes, standards, specifications, and ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• ISO 9001 internal auditor certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Project Quality Plan and ITPs, and approved quality procedures.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and material submittals to identify quality requirements.
• Inspect civil works: excavation, backfilling, reinforcement, formwork, concrete placement, waterproofing, masonry, finishing.
• Verify incoming materials against submittals and maintain material inspection records.
• Prepare and submit inspection requests, coordinating with consultants and clients.
• Witness and coordinate laboratory and field testing (concrete slump, compressive strength, soil compaction, etc.).
• Identify nonconforming work, issue NCRs, and verify corrective actions before closure.
• Monitor subcontractors' workmanship and compliance with approved methods.
• Ensure equipment calibration records are valid and up to date.
• Support quality audits and prepare periodic quality performance reports.
• Coordinate snagging, final inspections, and quality documentation for handover.
