Job summary

Client of Bismi Overseas Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented QA QC Engineer Civil to oversee on-site quality of civil works, ensure compliance with drawings, PQP and codes, and document inspection results.

Responsibilities include implementing the QMS, conducting field inspections, coordinating with clients and labs for testing, raising NCRs, maintaining records, and training site staff on quality standards to achieve project handover with zero non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC for civil works.
• Must be detail oriented and able to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Must be able to prepare inspection reports and test plans.
• Age between 22 and 50 years.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the project’s Quality Management System (QMS) for civil works.
• Review drawings, specifications and Project Quality Plan (PQP) to ensure compliance.
• Conduct inspections for excavation, formwork, rebar, concreting, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, finishing.
• Prepare and process Inspection Requests (IRs), Method Statements and ITPs.
• Coordinate with client/consultant for inspections and approvals, including MIRs/NCRs.
• Witness and verify material testing (concrete cube tests, cement, aggregates, steel, soil compaction) with approved labs.
• Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports and ensure timely closure.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, checklists, test reports, inspection records and punch lists.
• Ensure calibration of testing and measuring equipment.
• Conduct internal audits and support external client audits.
• Coordinate snagging, de-snagging and final handover documentation.
• Provide toolbox talks and training to site staff on quality standards.

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA QC Engineer Civil to ensure all civil construction works meet project specifications applicable codes and quality standards through systematic inspection testing and documentation

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the project s Quality Management System QMS for civil works
• Review and ensure compliance with approved drawings specifications and project quality plan PQP
• Conduct inspections for civil activities excavation formwork rebar concreting blockwork plastering waterproofing finishing works
• Prepare and process Inspection Requests IRs Method Statements and ITPs Inspection amp Test Plans
• Coordinate with client consultant for inspections and obtain approvals e g MIRs NCRs
