Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks a Senior Procurement Engineer, Civil to lead procurement of civil construction materials, equipment and subcontractor services. You will ensure cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery, and adherence to project specs and standards.

You will review drawings, issue RFQs, evaluate bids, negotiate terms, and coordinate with project teams to meet deadlines and cost targets. Strong ERP and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of procurement experience in civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, subcontracting, and supply chain management.
• Experience with large-scale building, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Prepare and issue RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate technical and commercial bids.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and contract terms.
• Source and pre-qualify vendors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers.
• Monitor procurement schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Prepare procurement reports and cost analyses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
