Job summary

Parsons in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Civil Inspector to join our Construction Supervision team on a major roads and utilities infrastructure project. You will ensure works meet plans, specs, and quality standards while coordinating with the contractor's engineers.

With 10+ years in infrastructure construction supervision, you will inspect, document, report non-conformances, manage Inspection Requests, and uphold HSE on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in infrastructure construction supervision.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Excellent inspection, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and coordination on site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction works follow plans, specs, and workmanship standards.
• Inspect civil works for compliance with drawings and specs.
• Coordinate daily with the contractor's Engineer and report non-conformances.
• Process and track Inspection Requests (IRs) and maintain approvals/rejections.
• Coordinate sampling and testing with inspectors and laboratories; support QA/QC verification of materials.
• Coordinate with surveyors to verify line, level, and grade for works.
• Maintain detailed daily site diaries/logs with activities, issues, records.
• Support quantity measurements for Day Works where applicable.
• Interface with stakeholders to minimize construction impacts.
• Promote HSE compliance and safe work practices on site.
