Job summary

Parsons Corporation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Civil Inspector - Infrastructure Construction to supervise and inspect roads, bridges, utilities, and related works. Qualifications

Must hold a 3-year diploma or degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 7 years of construction supervision experience on infrastructure projects.
Strong reading of construction drawings, blueprints, specs, and technical docs.

Responsibilities

Inspect civil and structural construction against drawings, specs, and contract requirements.
Witness/perform soil compaction, moisture content, aggregate gradation, and concrete testing (slump, air entrainment, compression).
Perform line and grade surveys and verify alignment as required.
Check bolt torque values and other structural installation requirements.
Monitor underground piping installation for bedding, grade, alignment, and tightness.
Inspect piling activities for position and bearing requirements.
Verify piping systems via P&ID checks, hydraulic testing, and pressure tests.
Inspect electrical installations for grounding and circuit integrity.
Monitor painting and insulation work for thickness and continuity.
Maintain inspection records and prepare technical reports.
