Job summary

ASECOM Middle East Ltd in Dubai is looking for a Civil Inspector for major infrastructure projects. You'll oversee construction supervision, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in similar infrastructure or roads projects.
• At least 3 years of UAE experience preferred.
• Experience in structural and roads construction supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review project contract documents, drawings, specifications, and safety requirements including revisions.
• Ensure contractor compliance with approved standards and contractual requirements.
• Maintain daily records of contractor manpower, equipment, and site activities.
• Conduct site supervision and inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
• Liaise daily with contractors to monitor progress, safety, and resource deployment.
• Prepare daily inspection and progress reports including materials deliveries and work programs.
• Implement and follow up on site instructions issued by project management.
• Apply quality control procedures in accordance with approved Quality Management Systems.
• Assist with site measurements, survey checks, alignments, and infrastructure verifications.
• Monitor contractor QA and QC activities including materials testing and inspection records.
• Conduct audit inspections to verify compliance with drawings and approved method statements.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, and other local authority regulations.
• Promote strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
