Job summary

DNV Inspection AS Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Civil Inspector to oversee and verify civil and structural construction activities in onshore and offshore environments, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, project specs, and international codes.

You will review drawings, ITPs, test results, and NCRs, prepare inspection reports, support handover, and coordinate with contractors and QA/QC teams to maintain safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Oversee civil/structural inspections and QA/QC adherence.
• Interpret and apply ADNOC standards, IFC drawings, ITPs and method statements.
• Monitor safety practices and risk controls on site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of foundations, concrete placement and rebar installation.
• Verify contractor activities against approved drawings, submittals and ADNOC standards.
• Prepare inspection reports, QA/QC records, NCRs and punch items.
• Support pre-commissioning, hydrostatic tests and handover activities.
• Liaise with contractors, QA/QC engineers, and project management for issue resolution.
