Job summary

SGS is seeking Civil Structural Inspectors for ADNOC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves daily inspections of structural steel fabrication, welding, bolting, alignment, and coating to ensure compliance with drawings and standards.

Candidates should have a Civil Engineering qualification and at least 5 years in Oil & Gas construction inspection, with hands-on verification of rebar, bolting, welding and coatings.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years Oil & Gas construction inspection experience.
• Experience in rebar, bolting, welding and coating verification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of structural steel fabrication and erection activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Inspect welding, bolting, alignment, fit-up, and coating works for quality and conformity.
• Identify and report non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures, project requirements, and applicable standards.
