Job summary

ACC Group requires a Civil Inspector (QA/QC) to ensure civil construction activities for LNG facilities comply with ADNOC standards, project specs, approved drawings and international codes. You will inspect site works, monitor activities, and verify QC processes across all civil works.

Key duties include inspections of excavation, concrete works, formwork and QA/QC documentation, plus handling RFIs, NCRs, and as-builts with coordination of contractors and third-party inspectors.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in oil & gas, EPC, or LNG projects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of civil works including excavation, backfilling, foundations, concrete works, structural elements, paving, and underground services.
  • Raise, monitor, and close RFIs in coordination with contractors and consultants.
  • Witness and verify material testing (concrete slump test, cube test, soil compaction, etc.).
  • Check formwork, reinforcement, embedment, and concrete pouring activities prior to approval.
  • Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed and report NCRs.
  • Review and verify as-built drawings and ensure accuracy with executed works.
  • Maintain documentation of inspections, reports and test results.
  • Coordinate with construction teams, QA/QC engineers, and third-party inspectors.
  • Support audits with required QA/QC documentation.

Job Summary:

The Civil Inspector (QA/QC) is responsible for ensuring that all civil construction activities are executed in compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, approved drawings, and international codes. The role involves conducting inspections, monitoring site activities, and verifying quality control processes across all civil works for LNG facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of civil works including excavation, backfilling, foundations, concrete works, structural elements, paving, and underground services.
  • Ensure all works comply with ADNOC specifications, approved ITPs (Inspection Test Plans), method statements, and project requirements.
  • Raise, monitor, and close Request for Inspection (RFI) in coordination with contractors and consultants.
  • Witness and verify material testing (concrete slump test, cube test, soil compaction, etc.).
  • Check and verify formwork, reinforcement, embedment, and concrete pouring activities prior to approval.
  • Ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures and report any non-conformities (NCRs).
  • Review and verify as-built drawings and ensure accuracy with executed works.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of inspections, reports, and test results.
  • Coordinate with construction teams, QA/QC engineers, and third-party inspectors.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required QA/QC documentation.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, or LNG projects (preferably ADNOC projects).
  • Strong experience in civil QA/QC inspection for large-scale industrial projects.
  • Familiarity with ADNOC standards, specifications, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of international codes and standards (ACI, ASTM, BS, ISO).
  • Experience in handling ITPs, RFIs, NCRs, and QA/QC documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC documentation systems.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ADNOC approval or prior experience on ADNOC projects is highly preferred.
  • Certification in QA/QC (e.g., ISO 9001 awareness or internal auditor).
  • CSWIP / equivalent certification is an advantage.
