Job summary

Wood is recruiting an experienced PMC Civil Inspector for ADNOC Onshore to be based in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on inspecting civil and structural construction activities to ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, project specs, and HSE requirements.

You will verify drawings, ITPs, method statements, and perform witness inspections and material testing. A background in oil, gas or industrial projects and prior PMC/consultant experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of civil inspection experience in oil & gas or industrial construction.
• Experience with ADNOC Onshore or major Middle East projects preferred.
• Experience in PMC or consultant roles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect civil construction activities including earthworks, foundations, reinforcement, and formwork.
• Verify contractor work against drawings, ITPs, and ADNOC standards.
• Witness inspections and material tests (soil compaction, concrete, rebar).
• Review RFIs and raise NCRs; monitor corrective actions.
• Ensure safety and PTW compliance; coordinate with project teams.
