Job summary

Worley is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer in Abu Dhabi to ensure technical assurance and compliance for the CONTRACTOR within the COMPANY's discipline scope. You will review and approve contractor deliverables, lead safety initiatives, and coordinate with owners, licensors and vendors on FEED/EPC activities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 15+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemicals, offshore project experience, and GCC exposure (preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Minimum of 5 years in the GCC region (preferred).
• Offshore project experience is required.
• FEED and EPC project experience, preferably involving major offshore developments.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviours and engagement activities.
• Review and approve Contractor deliverables and other works within the electrical discipline, ensuring compliance with design requirements.
• Attend regular meetings at EPC/FEED Contractor offices and construction site offices to discuss progress.
• Review and approve key design documents from vendors, equipment manufacturers or sub-contractors.
• Coordinate auditing activities and ensure recommendations are implemented.
