Job summary

Worley in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior Structural Engineer to lead all structural engineering activities for FEED, EPC and detailed engineering phases on major oil and gas projects. You will provide technical leadership for design and analysis of onshore and offshore structures, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• At least 5 years in GCC region preferred.
• Experience with FEED and EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of international design codes and standards.
• Proficiency in structural engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all structural engineering activities for the project during FEED, EPC, and detailed engineering phases.
• Provide technical leadership for the design and analysis of onshore and offshore structural systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, and international codes.
• Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of structural deliverables, including design calculations, structural analysis reports, drawings, specifications, and material requisitions.
• Perform and review structural analyses using industry-standard software for steel and concrete structures, equipment foundations, pipe racks, buildings, and offshore facilities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of structural design with process, piping, mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines.
• Support constructability reviews, value engineering initiatives, and design optimization to achieve cost-effective and efficient solutions.
