Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer in Dubai, UAE for major roads, infrastructure and bridge projects. The role combines construction inspection and supervision across roads, highways, bridges and underpasses, ensuring works follow approved designs, project specifications, quality requirements, safety standards and Dubai/UAE regulations.

Candidates must have at least 12 years of relevant construction supervision experience and prior experience working in Dubai.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with relevant supervision experience.
Minimum 12 years of experience in roads, highways, bridges and underpasses.
Experience working in Dubai and familiarity with local regulations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate bridge and underpass construction per design and schedule.
Review shop drawings, materials and construction methods.
Conduct regular field inspections and ensure quality compliance.
Prepare daily diaries, inspection reports and meeting minutes.
Coordinate with contractors, surveyors and stakeholders to resolve issues.
Oversee inspectors and guide site operations.
Review as-built drawings in coordination with inspectors.
Monitor progress against schedules and suggest corrective actions.
Work with senior engineers on practical solutions to complex challenges.
Verify compliance with local codes, regulations and project requirements.
Support RTA standards and approval processes.
