Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of civil construction experience, preferably on substation projects.
• Experience managing civil works, subcontractors, QA/QC, and HSE.
• Familiarity with UAE utility projects and client coordination.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, specifications, method statements, and permit-to-work requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all civil construction activities during the night shift.
• Ensure work is executed per drawings, project specs, method statements, and permits.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, surveyors, QA/QC, and HSE teams for safe site operations.
• Track progress against the approved schedule and achieve productivity targets.
• Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards throughout execution.
• Coordinate with day-shift for smooth handovers and continuity.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports including manpower and equipment usage.
• Liaise with TAQA, EDF, consultants and project management teams as required.
• Identify and resolve site issues promptly to avoid delays and maintain quality.
• Monitor site activities to ensure timely milestone completion.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely execution of civil works while coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, client representatives, QA/QC, and HSE teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all civil construction activities during the night shift.
• Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, and permit requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, surveyors, QA/QC personnel, and HSE teams to ensure safe and efficient site operations.
• Track progress against the approved project schedule and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
• Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards throughout project execution.
• Coordinate with the day-shift team to ensure smooth work continuity and effective shift handovers.
• Prepare and submit daily reports covering work progress, manpower, equipment utilization, site issues, and resource requirements.
• Liaise with client representatives, including TAQA, EDF, consultants, and project management teams as required.
• Identify and resolve site execution issues promptly to avoid delays and maintain project quality standards.
• Monitor site activities to ensure timely completion of milestones and adherence to project deadlines.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in civil construction, preferably on substation projects (132kV, 220kV, 400kV, or similar utility infrastructure projects).
• Proven experience in managing civil works execution, subcontractors, quality control, and HSE compliance.
• Familiarity with UAE utility projects and coordination with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, method statements, and permit-to-work requirements.
