Job summary

AFRY in Dubai seeks a Senior Civil Engineer with 10+ years post-graduation, incl. 5+ years in GIS substations (400/132 kV). Candidate should have DEWA project exposure and strong knowledge of international standards and HSE in the power sector.

Based in Dubai/UAE, the role will deploy to project sites across the region. Start from 1 December 2026, with applications closing by 30 October 2026. Fluent English and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Power & Transmission industry exposure.
• At least 5 years of GIS substation experience in 400 kV/132 kV projects.
• Excellent written and spoken English; report writing and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Civil construction works of 400/132 kV substations during execution.
• Prepare daily site reports for monitoring EPC contractors’ progress.
• Attend progress meetings with contractors and consultants.
• Follow OH&S and quality procedures in ISO environment and coordinate with DEWA engineers.
• Coordinate with main and subcontractors to ensure contractual terms with quality.
