Job summary

Gulbahar-Tobacco-International-Fze in Dubai (JAFZA) seeks an experienced Senior Making Machine Technician to operate, maintain and optimize cigarette making and packing machinery.

You will lead technicians, coordinate with production teams, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex faults, and ensure safety, quality, and high equipment availability in compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in industrial maintenance or machinery operations.
• Experience in tobacco manufacturing preferred.
• Hands-on with DECOUFLE, HAUNI PROTOS, GD121A.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot cigarette making and packing equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting for runability, quality issues, faults, and downtime.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance per schedules.
• Oversee setup, changeovers, format changes, and optimization.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and operators.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with standards.
