Job summary

Mama Shelter Dubai is seeking a Senior Chef de Partie to lead a section, ensure smooth service and deliver dishes to the highest standard. You will be the senior on your station, mentor junior chefs and collaborate with the Sous Chef to keep the kitchen firing on all cylinders.

You thrive under pressure, own mise en place, manage stock and maintain hygiene and food safety while bringing creativity and a passion for great food to the team.

Qualifications

• Own Your Section and keep it organized for every service.
• Master mise en place ensuring prepped and stocked before busy periods.
• Lead and support Demi Chefs de Partie and Commis Chefs.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.

• Master the Mise en Place Make sure everything is prepped stocked and ready to go before the kitchen gets busy
• Serve Up Excellence Prepare cook and present every dish according to Mama s recipes portioning quality and presentation standards
• Keep Your Cool Stay sharp organized and accurate during busy services while keeping the plates moving
• Be the Senior on the Station Guide train and support Demi Chefs de Partie and Commis Chefs helping them learn and grow
• Keep an Eye on Stock Monitor your section s products manage stock levels and minimize waste while keeping quality at its best
• Kitchen Safety Champion Maintain high standards of cleanliness hygiene food safety and safe food handling at all times
• Be a Team Player Work closely with the Sous Chef and other sections to keep the entire kitchen running smoothly
• Bring Fresh Ideas Stay curious about culinary trends and techniques and contribute ideas to new dishes and menu development
• Share the Knowledge Support a culture of learning by sharing your skills attending training and helping the whole Gang get better every day
