Amazon UAE is looking for a smart, enthusiastic, hardworking, and creative Senior Vendor Manager to join our appliances business based in Dubai. We offer a convenient and safe online shopping experience with online payment options, cash on delivery, and free returns.

The Senior Vendor Manager will be responsible for developing and owning the P&L and strategy for one of the categories at a regional level in UAE. The role involves driving category growth, managing profitability, and improving customer experience.

We seek a seasoned individual with strong analytical skills, excellent business judgment, vendor management and negotiation skills, curiosity, and a passion for creating a world-class shopping experience. The role requires on-ground work and collaboration with cross-functional teams and vendors of all sizes, requiring leadership presence and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain data quality for the product catalog and build brand destinations within Amazon.
  • Create launch plans for new products, brands, and categories.
  • Manage site placements, promotions, and coordinate with suppliers and the event calendar.
  • Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Provide reporting and success metrics for campaigns and merchandising activities.
  • Review sales and key metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Manage inventory levels, supplier engagement, and inventory health.
  • Handle inbound shipments, including fill rate, SKUs, operational issues, lead time, and quality deviations.
  • Manage category KPIs, inventory forecasting, and assortment planning.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to drive efficiencies.

Qualifications include:

  • At least 5 years of experience with Excel and account management, project or program management, or buying.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional/military experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions.
  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and drive alignment.
