Job summary

MBRF is seeking a Category Management Analyst to drive profitable category growth across the MENA region. You will translate strategic priorities into regional action plans and manage the end-to-end category performance, including P&L, pricing, and trade investments.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Innovation, Finance, and Operations to define pipelines, optimize assortments, and lead new product opportunities, while traveling as required to regions across the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field; MBA preferred.
• 3+ years in FMCG, category management, marketing, business analytics, or related functions.
• Strong experience in market analysis, category performance management, and business planning.
• Proven ability to analyze business performance, market intelligence, and category trends to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable and sustainable growth of assigned categories across MENA; act as the key integrator between market opportunities, category performance and business execution.
• Develop category strategies translating priorities into regional action plans and BRF planning processes.
• Own 360° category performance diagnosis, linking KPIs to identify root causes and growth opportunities.
• Actively manage the Category P&L, identifying deviations and opportunities in volume, price, margins, and trade investments.
• Monitor market, consumer and competitive dynamics to anticipate opportunities.
• Identify category white spaces and growth platforms using internal and external data.
• Lead portfolio and assortment recommendations, product mix, distribution priorities and shelf availability.
• Define category pipelines and innovation opportunities with Marketing and Innovation.
• Lead the category agenda for new launches and renovations; align consumer opportunity with business plans.
• Partner with Trade Marketing and Commercial teams to translate category strategy into trade plans and priorities.
• Act as entrepreneurial category owner, driving cross-functional execution.
