Remotedxb is seeking a lead engineer to guide a distributed team in designing, implementing, and deploying scalable software solutions in a remote-first environment. You will collaborate with partners and stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performance systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on architecture, API design, and strong leadership capabilities within an agile setting, with a focus on Azure-based deployments and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in C#/.NET, designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
• Hands on experience deploying and operating applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience leading engineering teams and providing technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed engineering team to design, review, and build software.
• Collaborate with government partners and contractors to architect, implement, and deploy new systems.
• Work in an agile manner to ship new features efficiently.
• Create tools and processes to automate development, testing, and production workflows.
• Write and review technical documentation and perform code reviews.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems.
• Take part in hiring activities including conducting interviews and debriefs.
