Job summary

Remotedxb is seeking a Senior Frontend Architect to define and lead the frontend strategy for large-scale applications in Dubai. You will shape architecture, tooling, and deployment, while mentoring engineers and aligning UI decisions with product goals.

You will drive accessible, high-performance web experiences using React and/or Angular, advocate WCAG compliance, and collaborate with product managers to balance design with technical feasibility in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience.
• Architecting modern frontend apps at scale with React and/or Angular.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency.
• Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508.
• Experience with automated testing: Playwright, Cypress, Jest.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust 6C.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive strategic direction for frontend engineering practices and tooling.
• Lead development of accessible, performant, user-centered web applications.
• Design and implement modern frontend architectures and deployment infrastructure.
• Build and maintain component libraries and design systems.
• Mentor and coach engineers at all levels.
• Collaborate with product managers to balance UI/UX experience with implementation effort.
