Job summary

EDGE Group seeks a Senior Specialist – Business Development to drive market development, identify opportunities and engage customers across its advanced technology and defence portfolio.

You will conduct market and competitor research, support pipeline management, create customer presentations and coordinate with technical teams to progress opportunities. Strong presentation, analysis and communication skills are essential in a defence sector environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Defence or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial, Strategy or related roles.
• Knowledge of EDGE clusters or experience with similar systems: Platforms & Systems, Missiles & Weapons, Secure Intelligence Systems, Advanced Sensing, Homeland Security or Technology.
• Experience in the defence sector.

Responsibilities

• Identify new market and business development opportunities.
• Conduct market, customer and competitor research.
• Support opportunity qualification and pipeline management.
• Prepare customer presentations, business cases and market assessments.
• Support customer engagements, events and strategic partnerships.
• Coordinate with technical and commercial teams to progress opportunities.
• Maintain CRM data and pipeline reporting.
