Job summary

EDGE Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Specialist – Business Development to drive market development, identify opportunities and engage customers across its advanced technology and defence portfolio.

You will conduct market and competitor research, support pipeline management and prepare customer presentations and business cases, coordinating with technical and commercial teams to advance opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology or Defence or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial, Strategy or related roles.
• Knowledge of EDGE clusters or similar systems such as Platforms & Systems, Missiles & Weapons, Secure Intelligence Systems etc.
• Experience in the defense sector is preferred.
• Defence, aerospace, advanced technology or security sector experience is desirable.
• Strong analytical, research, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify new market and business development opportunities.
• Conduct market, customer and competitor research.
• Support opportunity qualification and pipeline management.
• Prepare customer presentations, business cases and market assessments.
• Support customer engagements, events and strategic partnerships.
• Coordinate with technical and commercial teams to progress opportunities.
• Maintain CRM data and pipeline reporting.
