Job summary

Client of Beresford Wilson Partners Bwp is seeking a Senior Business Development and Bids professional in Abu Dhabi to support identification, development and pursuit of PPP and infrastructure investment opportunities. The role will span the full lifecycle from opportunity identification and relationship building to coordinating complex tender submissions and guiding projects through to award.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Development amp Bids professional to support the identification development and pursuit of PPP and infrastructure investment opportunities The role will work across the full business development and bidding lifecycle from identifying new opportunities and building relationships through to coordinating complex tender submissions and supporting projects through to award

Key Responsibilities

Identify and assess new PPP and infrastructure investment opportunitiesMonitor government pipelines procurement programmes and upcoming tendersBuild and maintain relationships with government entities authorities developers investors and strategic partnersSupport the development of market-entry and opportunity pursuit strategiesLead and coordinate EOI RFQ and RFP submissionsManage bid programmes timelines deliverables and internal stakeholdersCoordinate inputs from investment finance legal technical and commercial teamsWork with external advisers consultants contractors and consortium partnersSupport the formation and management of bidding consortiums and partnershipsReview tender documentation and identify key commercial and contractual requirementsDevelop high-quality presentations proposals and bid documentationSupport commercial discussions and negotiations throughout the bidding processPrepare internal opportunity papers presentations and approval materialsTrack competitor activity and wider PPP infrastructure market developmentsMaintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide regular updates to senior managementSupport projects from initial opportunity identification through to preferred bidder financial close

Experience & Background

Strong experience in business development bids or project development within infrastructurePrevious exposure to PPP P3 projects highly desirableExperience working for an infrastructure investor developer fund concessionaire or similar organisationGood understanding of infrastructure procurement and competitive tender processesExperience coordinating complex multi-party bidsStrong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skillsConfident working with senior internal and external stakeholdersExcellent written communication presentation and proposal-development skillsAble to manage multiple live opportunities and deadlines simultaneously

Experience across one or more infrastructure sectors would be beneficial including transport social infrastructure utilities water energy or other public infrastructure
