Job summary

Nexttec Technology Outsourcing seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst in Dubai to drive the full BA lifecycle across complex software projects for enterprise and government clients in the GCC. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, own the BA scope end-to-end on some projects and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements include 5–7 years of BA experience, strong documentation, and fluency in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant business analysis experience with at least 2 years at a Senior BA level on software projects.
• Proven hands-on experience delivering across the full BA lifecycle in hybrid Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Strong BA deliverables knowledge: BRD, SRS, user stories, acceptance criteria, BPMN flows and data dictionaries.
• Bilingual in Standard Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
• Experience with Visio, Figma, Jira or Azure DevOps, MS Excel and MS Word.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data migration techniques is a strong plus.
• Governmental/public sector project experience is a strong plus.
• Certifications CBAP, PMI-PBA or Agile are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry the discovery phase: identify scope, baseline plan and facilitate sessions.
• Produce BRD and SRS documents or BRD with backlog of user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Flag out-of-scope items and align with leads on feasibility before finalizing docs.
• Collaborate with technical writers on supporting artifacts.
• Work with solution architects, developers, data teams and QA to ensure feasibility.
• Attend demos and UAT sessions with the client.
• Mentor junior analysts and support knowledge sharing in the team.
• Provide BA input to proposals and early scoping as needed.
