Dubai HR Professional Network is seeking a Building Envelope Engineer | Façade Design Specialist to lead high‑performance building envelope and façade systems for various developments in the UAE. The role blends façade engineering, material selection, waterproofing, and construction coordination to ensure safe, durable, and energy‑efficient envelopes.

You will collaborate with architects, contractors, façade fabricators, and consultants to deliver compliant and buildable solutions, translate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Building/Architectural Engineering or related field.
• Experience in façade engineering and building envelope design.
• Knowledge of glazing systems, curtain walls, and external wall assemblies.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and fire safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review building envelope designs, façade systems, curtain walls, cladding assemblies, glazing systems.
• Coordinate façade design development with architects, structural engineers, and contractors.
• Assess wind loads, thermal movements, and deflection requirements.
• Review shop drawings, installation details, and technical submissions.
• Develop design strategies to improve weather resistance and energy efficiency.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and compliance documentation.
• Support waterproofing details and joint interfaces.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and value engineering.
