Job summary

Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking an experienced Branch Operations Leader to oversee all branch operations, risk management, and customer service delivery. You will supervise staff, manage cash and security, and ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements while coordinating with Head Office for efficient service.

The role requires 8–10 years in banking with 4–5 years in branch operations or internal control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Banking, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Professional banking certifications are preferred.
• 8–10 years of banking experience.
• 4–5 years in Branch Operations, Internal Control, or Branch Management.
• Strong knowledge of retail banking operations, risk management, compliance, and branch procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations and administrative activities.
• Ensure efficient execution of all branch transactions within service levels.
• Supervise branch staff including Head Teller, Senior Tellers, Tellers, and Service Representatives.
• Coordinate with centralized units and Head Office departments.
• Monitor branch productivity and service levels to ensure excellence.
• Manage cash, vaults, and security documents with proper controls.
• Ensure compliance with risk, AML, and regulatory requirements.
• Review and authorize transactions within delegated limits and verify documentation.
• Oversee reconciling items, general ledger alignment, and branch accounting accuracy.
• Support audits and regulatory inquiries; implement audit recommendations.
• Deliver excellent customer service and manage service levels; address issues promptly.
• Maintain CCTV and security equipment; coordinate maintenance of ATMs/CDMs.
• Lead, coach, and develop branch operations staff; drive performance and engagement.
