Job summary

Amgen in Dubai is seeking a Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative to drive sales within assigned territories. You will collaborate with managers to develop territory plans, monitor progress, and coordinate with Marketing and Medical Affairs to achieve objectives while maintaining up-to-date CRM records.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, pharmaceutical sales experience, and English fluency. UAE residency or local qualification is preferred, with strong communication and time-management

• Experience in pharmaceutical sales with a proven track record of success.
• Experience in Cardiovascular, Endocrinology or Biotechnology fields preferred.
• Experience with CRM databases and MS Office.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• UAE local legal qualification or transferrable residency is preferred.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with manager to develop and implement territory POA and key account plans
• Evaluate progress versus plan monthly and agrees to course corrections with manager
• Contribute to cluster/territory teams and Marketing, Medical Affairs/Value & Access teams to agree on key account plan objectives/responsibilities
• Engage with peers and District Manager and cross-functional teams to improve product knowledge
• Demonstrate an understanding of industry and healthcare trends, of how retail practices, clinics and hospitals operate
• Follow through on customer commitments and request in a timely fashion
• Report customer activity in the CRM system and ensure customer profiles are kept up to date
• Demonstrate an understanding of Amgen Performance for selling platform to satisfy customer and Amgen needs
• Operate within the agreed expense budget aligned with POA priorities
• Seek inputs and assistance to prioritize activities in a timely fashion and follow-up with customers
• Continuously develop and improve product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs to drive own development.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor`s degree
• Demonstrated experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a sales-related job with track record of success demonstrated consistency of achieving results.
• Experience in Cardiovascular, Endocrinology or Biotechnology related field is preferred.
• Experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office)
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Hold self-accountable for achieving established goals
• Demonstrate time management skills in terms of prioritizing activities and completing work in a timely manner; meet deadlines
• Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication
• UAE relevant local legal qualification (Transferrable residency and valid driving license) is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor`s degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences
• 2-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• Knowledge of Customer Relation Management principles
• Exposure to interactions with various fields and organizational levels
• Exposure to project management principles
• Demonstrated resilience in sophisticated environments
• Demonstrated high learning agility
