Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician in Dubai to evaluate and repair complex medical devices, perform planned maintenance, and lead other technicians according to hospital policies and GE procedures.

You will document actions, manage spares and tools, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining strong relationships with nurses, doctors, and leadership. This role requires independent work and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical/biomedical/mechanical engineering or equivalent military education.
• Proficient in electronic documentation with devices (iPad/iPhone).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex biomedical equipment issues, perform repairs and maintenance.
• Lead technicians on GE policies, hospital protocols, and documentation.
• Maintain proactive daily communication with customers to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
• Implement facility contracts and support business goals.
• Document all repair actions and submit reports on schedule.
• Manage spares, tools and test equipment calibration.
• Maintain approved parts inventory.
• Meet regulatory requirements (Health and Human Services, EH&S).
