Job summary

Leading Edge in Dubai is seeking a Senior Biomedical Engineer to oversee installation, maintenance and support of laboratory analytical and diagnostic instruments across client sites in the UAE. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with major brands and a customer-facing service mindset.

This full-time, onsite role requires a Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering or related field, UAE registration preferred, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Hands-on experience servicing laboratory analytical instruments from leading brands.
• Strong diagnostic, calibration, and troubleshooting skills across analytical equipment.
• UAE engineering registration or licence preferred.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and calibrate laboratory instruments at client sites.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults; perform repairs.
• Provide technical support and end-user training on operation and safety.
• Maintain service records, calibration logs, and documentation.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to source parts.
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety and regulatory standards.
• Respond to client requests and after-hours call-outs as needed.
