Haskoning in Dubai, United Arab Emirates seeks a Senior BIM Modeller to develop and maintain coordinated BIM models and technical drawings for ports, waterfronts and coastal works. You will coordinate multidisciplinary models, advance automation through Dynamo and Forma, and collaborate with international specialists to meet project goals.

You bring 10+ years of civil modelling experience, advanced Civil 3D/Revit skills, and a proactive mindset for digital delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of civil modelling and drafting experience in a design consultancy environment.
• Minimum 5 years of local Middle East experience is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and Revit with ability to deliver from concept to detailed design.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows, model/document management and coordination.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain coordinated Civil 3D and Revit models including families, surfaces, alignments and corridors.
• Produce coordinated drawings in Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD per engineer requirements.

Shape complex maritime and coastal infrastructure through advanced digital design. In this role, you will combine Civil 3D, Revit and BIM expertise to deliver coordinated models and drawings for major projects across the Middle East, while helping the team improve its digital workflows through automation and practical innovation.

What you will do as a Senior BIM Modeller

As a Senior BIM Modeller, you will develop and maintain coordinated BIM models and technical documentation for ports, land reclamation, waterfront structures and coastal protection works. Working with multidisciplinary engineers and international specialists, you will support projects from concept through detailed design, coordinate the BIM team’s activities and progressively take on greater coordination responsibilities. Your responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain coordinated Civil 3D and Revit models, including Revit families and parameters, surfaces, feature lines, grading, alignments, profiles and corridors, in accordance with project requirements, BIM Execution Plans and company standards; calculate earthworks quantities and define and verify the required levels of detail for models and drawings.
• Produce coordinated technical drawings in Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD, including plans, longitudinal sections, cross-sections and construction details, based on the responsible engineers’ design requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary models through BIM collaboration platforms, supporting clash detection and issue resolution, and manage model sharing, revisions and review comments in Autodesk Forma in accordance with the project BIM Execution Plan.
• Support digital project delivery through model publishing and quantity extraction, and identify, develop and implement automation workflows in Civil 3D and Revit using Dynamo, scripting and other digital solutions to improve the efficiency and consistency of modelling, drawing production and data management.
• Coordinate the BIM team’s activities and workflows to meet project objectives and timelines; perform and oversee QA/QC reviews for accuracy, consistency, multidisciplinary coordination, clash resolution and compliance with project standards; and manage assigned internal projects covering scope, programme, budget, resources, risks, deliverables and stakeholder communication.

As our new Senior BIM Modeller, you will become part of our Middle East Water and Maritime team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Our maritime business supports the development of ports, terminals and marine infrastructure by combining global expertise with local understanding to create sustainable and resilient solutions. You will work with multidisciplinary engineers and international specialists on port developments, waterfront structures, land reclamation and coastal protection projects across the region, while collaborating with colleagues in other Haskoning offices.

What you bring

You combine strong technical modelling skills with a thorough understanding of BIM processes and multidisciplinary coordination. You communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, work accurately and consistently, and are motivated to improve repetitive processes through automation and digital solutions. In addition, you have:

• At least 10 years of relevant civil modelling and drafting experience in a design consultancy environment, including at least 5 years of local Middle East experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and Revit, with proven ability to deliver project documentation from concept through detailed design.
• Working knowledge of BIM workflows, civil and structural coordination, and model and document management in Autodesk Forma (ACC).
• A strong motivation to automate repetitive tasks and work efficiently through digital solutions.
• Experience with programming, Dynamo and/or Grasshopper is considered an advantage.
