Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced BIM Lead to run the project team, linking the BIM supervisor with technicians, and overseeing delivery across disciplines. You will validate and coordinate drawings, manage model submissions, and ensure quality checks throughout the design process.

Qualifications

8+ years in infrastructure design production.
Experience leading or modelling/drafting teams in consultancy.
Proven delivery of drawing packages to UAE/Saudi standards.
Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Deliver the team's models and drawings against the task information delivery plan.
Set up and maintain data shortcuts, base plans and title block milestones.
Supervise model development across the team, in wet utilities, dry utilities, MEICA or smart technology.
Apply the design automation tools the group has implemented, and report defects in them.
Maintain the single source of truth for the 2D extraction of the team's drawings.
Carry out the final drawing sanity check before issuing discipline or interdisciplinary review.
