Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior BIM Engineer to join the Construction Supervision team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on managing Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes throughout the construction phase to ensure models stay coordinated, accurate, and aligned with project requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with Resident Engineer, design consultants, contractors, and site teams to oversee BIM implementation, model coordination, clash resolution, digital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• BIM-related professional certifications are highly desirable.
• 10–15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years on BIM in major construction supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and management of BIM processes during construction supervision.
• Coordinate federated BIM models across architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist disciplines.
• Review BIM execution plans, model submissions and digital deliverables for compliance.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary model coordination meetings and resolve clashes.
• Support construction teams with coordinated model views, digital sequences and quantity data.
• Mentor BIM Engineers, Coordinators and Technicians and provide guidance.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline
