Job summary

AECOM Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior BIM Engineer to lead BIM processes, standards, and quality control across major projects. You will manage model creation, shop drawings, and execution plans, ensuring alignment with project requirements.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors, train project teams, and implement new BIM technologies while maintaining schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and shop drawing requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop BIM standards and workflows and enforce them.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure BIM integration.
• Oversee creation, maintenance, and updating of BIM models and shop drawings.
• Perform quality control checks on BIM deliverables against specs.
• Provide training and support on BIM tools and processes.
• Manage BIM software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Develop BIM execution plans and ensure milestones are met.
