Job summary

Sinopack Search is seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator – Architecture to lead architectural BIM coordination on a major Dubai project. This site-delivery role requires coordinating with site teams, engineers and contractors to ensure constructability and alignment with BEP.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in architecture or BIM coordination on large-scale projects, with Revit and Navisworks proficiency, and experience in international consultancies. Aviation/high-rise exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in architecture, BIM coordination or architectural project delivery.
• Strong background in architectural BIM coordination on major, technically complex construction projects.
• Experience with large international architectural or multidisciplinary engineering consultancies.
• Proven experience working through the construction and site delivery stages, not only design development.
• Advanced knowledge of Revit, Navisworks and multidisciplinary clash detection and coordination processes.
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, construction methodologies, buildability and technical interfaces.
• Experience coordinating with structural, MEP and specialist engineering teams.
• Exposure to major aviation, infrastructure, high-rise, mixed-use or other technically demanding developments is advantageous.
• Middle East project experience is preferred.

• Review contractors' BIM submissions, shop drawings and coordinated models to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Attend technical coordination meetings with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Support the resolution of RFIs, design coordination issues and construction-stage technical queries.
• Maintain BIM quality standards and ensure compliance with BEP and information management requirements.

We are working with a leading international multidisciplinary consultancy looking to appoint an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator – Architecture to support the construction delivery of a major, technically complex project in Dubai.

This is a site delivery-focused position, not a design role, requiring someone with strong architectural BIM coordination experience, ideally gained on large-scale projects with established international consultancies.

The successful candidate will work closely with site teams, engineering disciplines, contractors and consultants to ensure BIM models are properly coordinated, technically accurate and aligned with construction requirements.

Salary could go to 35,000 AED for exceptional candidates.

This position is particularly suited to an experienced architectural BIM professional who understands how complex buildings are constructed and can manage coordination challenges on live projects, rather than someone whose experience is predominantly design or BIM modelling.
