Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology is seeking a BIM Coordinator to lead MEP coordination across large-scale projects in Dubai. You will manage and unify BIM models, resolve clashes, and ensure alignment with design intent and standards.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years with Revit MEP and Navisworks, strong multidisciplinary coordination skills, and familiarity with UAE BIM requirements. Dubai/Abu Dhabi experience is a plus, with certification seen as advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, BIM, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant BIM coordination experience in MEP/construction projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in Revit MEP and Navisworks.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models for large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, LOD, clash detection, and information management.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred; Dubai/Abu Dhabi exposure advantageous.
• Autodesk Certified Professional or Revit certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage BIM activities for MEP disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop, review, and maintain coordinated MEP BIM models per BIM Execution Plans.
• Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, BMS, and other MEP systems.
• Review models to identify design conflicts and interface issues.
• Conduct clash detection and prepare clash reports using BIM tools.
• Lead coordination meetings and track closure of clashes and issues.
• Ensure BIM models align with drawings, specs, and project standards.
• Coordinate model updates from design changes, RFIs, and variations.
• Assist in preparing as-built BIM models and final handover docs.
